- What's saved
- The categories you pick, your budget and retailer choice, and when you saved them. No name, email, location or browsing history.
- Where
- Only in this browser, on this device (its local storage). Not in a cookie, an account or on our servers.
- How it's used
- When picks load, your choices are sent with that one request to rank deals. We don't store or log them, and they're never sent to an AI service.
- How to remove it
- Press “Clear my preferences” below. It takes effect at once. Clearing this site's data in your browser does the same.
Step 2 of 2: Your picks
How picks are ranked
- Deals in the categories you chose come first. A deal listed in exactly that category counts a little more than one in a sub-category.
- A price within your budget ranks higher, and a little higher again when it's 80% of your budget or less.
- The further the price is below the M.R.P. listed by the retailer, the higher it ranks.
- Recently checked prices rank higher. Prices that may be outdated, haven't been verified yet, or whose latest check failed rank lower.
- Deals featured by our team get a small boost.
- Deals whose price we can't show here, or that were out of stock at our last check, rank lower. When you set a budget, deals whose price we can't show are left out, because we can't show they fit it.
- When an extra bank or membership offer needs a particular card or membership, the deal ranks slightly lower.
- Each product appears once. When both Amazon.in and Flipkart list it, we show the listing whose price we can show, then the one that was in stock at our last check, then the lower price.
The order and the reasons under each pick are worked out by fixed rules from our deal data, not by AI. Commission plays no part.
